Client: Heinkel’s Packing Co., Inc. – Decatur, IL

This 4th generation, family owned company was approaching a century in business and needing solid marketing to show their commitment to quality and longevity.

To help celebrate this milestone, reinforce local name recognition and to upgrade their marketing efforts for the next century, Goss Advertising was asked to redesign their website and create a new logo. Along the way, it was announced that Heinkel’s would be sponsoring their first ever Hot-Dog Eating Contest at the Decatur Celebration, so planning and marketing for the contest was folded into the overall re-brand and marketing push.

Goss Advertising created a new company logo, print materials, print and web ad campaigns, slogans and concepts, and developed a modern responsive website which adapts to the visitor’s device. For the annual Hot Dog Eating Contest, we provided logo design, posters, handouts/flyers, banners and event merchandise design.

An integrated marketing strategy led by an iconic logo and a fresh look has helped Heinkel’s remind the community of their history, get their brand back out in front of consumers and continue to grow their business.
