The Gin Mill

Client: The Gin Mill – Decatur, IL

The Gin Mill was created as an homage to an era when living the good life meant fine food, great steaks and drinks with premium spirits, the planned eclectic atmosphere provided an excellent springboard for developing the brand.

The simple one color logo compliments the strong design elements of the restaurant while allowing flexibility in its use. From the building exterior to everything within, the logo puts the cap on the brand in its physical location and serves well as an anchor to expand the brand through all of their marketing efforts.

Goss Advertising designed the Gin Mill logo, menus, business cards, coasters, gift certificates, and smart solutions for “to go” packaging.  We created renderings to help plan the exterior design and signage. We also provided photography and print ad design for the grand opening campaign, assisted with social media and developed a new responsive, mobile friendly website.
