Timing is everything. In the early 90's I was the art director for Black & Co. Sports. I am fortunate that I got to start working with computer graphics when the field was still relatively young. My first experience was being able to lay out a line of text in Times New Roman in Word Express, pre-Windows. As someone who physically taped together letters on transparencies for enlargement on the camera, this was beyond amazing at the time. (Stay with me kids.)
